    Dear Forum members

Did you know that in June IWC is celebrating its 10th anniversary? For exactly ten years, the IWC Museum has been an ambassador to the history and tradition of IWC Schaffhausen. Celebrating this anniversary there are three exclusive events at the Museum for invited guests. After a welcome aperitif, you can experience the latest watch collection in our IWC Boutique and learn more about our history in our museum. Afterward, Curator David Seyffer gives exclusive insights into the tradition, history, present and future of the Schaffhausen manufactory through exclusive talks with IWC representatives.

June 8th = Christian Knoop, Director Creative Center will talk about the inspiration of the historical timepieces for the contemporary IWC design.

June 15th = Hannes Pantli, Member of the Board of Directors and former Director Marketing & Sales, will talk about 45 years working for IWC and the passion for vintage watches.

Last but not least June 22nd = Kurt Klaus, Master watchmaker and the father of Haute Horlogerie will be invited.

For IWC forum members, IWC Museum saved a very limited number of seats. If you are interested, please register until June 1 at for one or more events writing to museum@iwc.com:

    • Name

    • Forum nickname

    • Phone number

    • Date you wish to attend

The event is about 2 hours long, starting at around 6pm.

Due to the limited number of seats, the lot decides on the participation.

    Best wishes

    Tonny Berteloot

    Thank You Tonny
This promises to be a fantastic event and I wish I could be in Schaffhausen to attend, sadly I cannot get away at that time.
I'm sure the attendees will have a great time.

Thanks for sharing Tonny, impressive line-up and cool gesture from IWC to keep some spots for collectors! Unfortunately I can't make it in June... but I appreciate the event, hopefully someone can post some pictures?!

    Kind regards,

    Bob

    That sounds great, Tonny!
I'm interested but can't take off all day.
    What time does it start?

    Cheers, Tilo

Isn't the Museum much older, but was in former times located in the attic?

I remember to have visited the (old) Museum in the late 1990ies with Mr. King as guide.

In 2007 the Museum was relocated and re-opened.

    Regards

    Koenig

The tour for my first visit the attic Museum was led by Güntheer Grötchen and the second visit there I had the real privilege to meet and have Herr Klaus as my tour guide.

    Hi Thomas,

the anniversary is of the new museum. It has already 10 years now. The old museum started in the 1990s with VDO's CEO and was located under the roof of the main building. Both were/are milestones at their times. I'd be glad to attend the celebrations. Just sent an E-Mail.

    Cheers, Tilo
