Inherited this watch recently, looking for help to pin down a production date and some supplemental info. My first IWC!
I know its movement number places it between1945-1950, but not much else.

caseback # - 1182722

Because your picture(s) are not visible one can say nothing about your watch.
Also a picture from the movement is required. The only thing to be said is that the movement nr. you provide is present in the IWC ledger as a cal. 83, hand wound, small second at 6 o'clock, from 1947.
