Are you sure about it being scaled down in size?
I just got mine in Hong Kong, from the boutique at the airport.
I can't come it with the previous ones yet, as I don't have the old ones with me now. This new one... however, still seems quite substantial.

I recently got the 3714-45, and so I requested a catalogue, but they sent me the 2011/2012, makes sense to whittle down the old stock. I wonder, how long is considered a tasteful period of time before I make another request through the online portal for the new catalogue?
and, holy the quality of it is so good! I don't have too much to compare to, just the 2011/2012 Montblanc catalogue and the 2011/2012 Hamilton "catalogue".

If you are located in the U.S., I don't believe as of this posting that the 2012-2013 catalogue has yet been distributed. I can say definetly that I have not yet received mine. I spoke with IWC concierge service early this week and they indicated the new catalogue was expected for distribution by the end of June.
Recent contact with IWC for a "catalogue request" will generate the 2011-2012. However, my understanding is that your mailing information has also been added to a list to send you the new one. You might have received a signed cover letter with the catalogue. You can contact that representative to verify your name is on the 2012-2013 fullfilment list.

I just figured that because I just got the 2011/2012 version, when the 2012/2013 comes out they'll probably not send it to me right away, since the time elapsed will have only been a couple of weeks, maybe a month at the most. I was told that I got added to their mailing list, does that mean every year they send out a catalogue without my having to request it?

Being added to the mailing list will only get you the 2012-2013. You'll need to contact again next year. I can imagine with the associated postal costs and possible address changes, financially it's the right business call. Still, even though you were told you've been added to the list, I would verify.

Here's the latest update on the distribution of the 2012-2013 catalogue in the U.S.
I've been told that the catalogue has arrived but being held awaiting a "price list" insert from the publisher. ETA...approximently 2 more weeks.
I hope it won't be any longer or there's a chance the entire collection may be considered VINTAGE.

I hope that the price list insert is included. It is nice to have a written reference list right in the catalog. I think all of my collection of recent catalogs contain one with the exception of last year.

Yes..I agree. Having a price list included makes for a nice convienence. Glad it's coming back after, like you said, last years absence.
Since retail pricing is now viewable in the US on the website, returning to a catalogue insert should not be an issue. Hopefully prices will remain stable and the insert will not quickly become obsolete.
Can't wait to sit and relax with a beverage and my favorite read.

Today the german catalogue 2012/2013 arrived in my letter box.
I picked up one from the IWC Boutique in Paris, with the price list in Euros.
North America ...get ready, could be the end of this week the roll out begins.

Since I was able to read the catalog online, this Year's receipt of the catalog is going to be anticlimactic. But I still want one for my bookshelf.
Alan, I can pick one up for you at the NYC Boutique when I pick up my DFB (???).
They have been giving out copies for a couple of weeks, but they don't include a price list.
