Hi guys, I'm writing an article on the 3705 pilot. I'm in desperate need of any old advertisements and I cannot for the life of me find any.

Doe anyone know of any 3705 Advertisement images? I would greatly appreciate any help.

As a "survivor" of that era, I never saw one, but there are pages in the catalogs if I recall.

Interesting, but it incluses an essential mistake.

The ref. 3705 has an ETA 7750 based movement.

NOT a Lemania 7902 :-)

Regards

HEBE

P.S. Are you interested in Lemania calibers ?

Probably not of great help, but maybe I thought you'd be interested

HEBE, can you please explain me why there is a Lemania inside the 3705 housing? (hasn't it always been a mod. Valjoux 7750 all the time?)
Even for illustration purpose I don't get it. Why not showing the Lemania caliber inside a moonwatch for instance? I love your photoshop skills but this is really confusing to me.

Okay, this Photoshop arrangement is for Mark, because I think he has experience with Lemania movements :-)

SURE all ref. 3705 have those ETA based automatic movements.

I think the originate watch with that Lemania will confuse as well.

But here it is, my only blue dialed :-)

I'm relieved now :-)
With all due respect, I think you should avoid doing such marriages unless it's clearly stated that it's not a real picture.
Your montage is so good, I fear the day someone will claim that there is indeed a 3705 with a Lemania (showing your picture), adding Mark's clipping to prove his point.
Apart from that, I like your blue dial very much!

It is NOT a mariage and NOT a montage !!!

A real SINN limited edition !

But as I stated, it will confuse, but you wanted :-)

I'm lost now.
I think we don't speak about the same picture.

I was referring to this one:
i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w499/123chrono/Capture%20drsquoeacutecran%202015-12-15%20agrave%2012.49.23_zpsxihw0mec.png
The point was to prove the housing was the same (I 180° reversed it so it's clear)
On the left, the original 3705 with Valjoux, on the right, the 3705 housing with a photoshopped caliber, switching from 7750 to a Lemania.

It is though clear that the Sinn seen from different p.o.v. is not a marriage.

Thanks Heiko,
A wonderful piece of fun :o)
The Lemania (Omega Cal 861) is a beautiful piece of work.
I think most lament the loss of the column wheel from Cal 321.
Your image manipulation skills are fantastic.
