A quick question for anyone out there who currently has, or has had, or knows about the 3789 and particularly the serial numbers on them. Are the serial numbers in the very small / fine stamping like on the 3799 or are they in the deeper / larger machining as per the rest of the text on the titanium case back?

I believe the serial numbering is bigger on the ref 3789, as compared to the ref 3799.
I think also -- the serial number is on the caseback inner ring on the ref 3799, while on the caseback outer ring on the ref 3789.
if u google and/or visit well-known watch sales forums I think u will get clear pics of the ref 3789 caseback.
Thanks Shing, that was what I had suspected and falls in line with some of the images I had seen.
I am on the lookout for a 3789 to accompany my 3799 (I actually prefer the size of the 3789) but looking around they seem to be one of the most highly counterfeited IWC's out there with some very good knock offs so have to be extra careful when looking for one and noticed that the serial number on some that I had seen was different to the one on the 3799 so just through I would check.
