I just picked up my VC Ingenieur Automatic in WG (IW323304) yesterday.
One question I have for fellow owners on Cal. 80111:
Does the movement give any tick-tick-tick sound or feedback when you manually wind the watch through the crown?
I think from time to time I heard a very very faint clicking sound if I pressed the watch against my ear when winding, but otherwise the manual winding was rather "blend". Is this experience the same with other owners?
I did wind my watch to the full, and the overwinding prevention clutch did start to make the slipping sound after many turns on the crown. Watch is running fine and appears to be quite accurate so far. It is running about 5s fast in the last 24 hours with dial facing up.
The only other ETA based automatic watch I have is an Oris Flight Timer Worldtimer watch which uses a modified ETA 2836-2. The manual winding on that watch is just as feedback-less.
