David had successfully completed his house hunt in Tampa so we had a chance to meet for lunch in Siesta Key. I had the pleasure of meeting his lovely wife Patty and his two boys. I look forward to meeting up from time to time once he relocates from CHF land.
After staring at his black dial YC, I yearn for receipt of the Laureus version this summer.
Of course, I already had something blue on my wrist.

@David, nice to see you in sunny FL. Quite a change from CH, eh?

@Alan, we need to organize a GTG by dragging Kevin down to FL when David is settled. We can have a WUSTL reunion as well.

That Yacht Club seems to be a lot more at home there than it does in Switzerland. Congrats David on a successful house hunt visit.

Alan, still loving that that blue BP.

It was a pleasure to see you Alan - and your beautiful blue BPPC. You have no idea how nervous it made me when you let my sons hold it. :-) Your recommendation for the beach was spot on -- I can easily believe that Siesta Key is one of the best beaches in the US. Am looking forward to being able to get together on a regular basis.

Michael - you are right. This is the first time the YC was truly in its element since I bought it though I'm sure Kevin had it sailing a time or two.

Bill - Wow is it ever flat here! On the upside, it was sunny and upper 80s today with a wonderful breeze at the beach.

Very nice picture. I am becoming jealous, seeing and feeling from this picture the temperatures you have there, and knowing how cold it is still here.

You guys look like you are having a great time.

Let's see...caps, sunglasses, shorts, watches and smiles. The only thing missing is Florida Oranges and David needs a goatee !

    Nice mini-GTG

Alan is the perfect ambassador for the sunny climes of Florida. I must say that David looks particularly adapted for the move...and the watches are spectacular!!!!

I stopped by a watch shop the other day. After chatting with the people there for a little while, they gave me a GO cap and a pair of B&R caps for my sons. Looking forward to stopping back there after we move. No IWC though. :(

I look very pasty next to the tanned Mr. Ross, but I'll do my best to catch up.

Andy - don't hold your breath on the goatee. I don't think I could make it look as good as Alan does.
