The rather youthful picture of Wilhelm II
It is interesting that in 1914/15 the picture chosen for the German emperor shows him much more youthful - by 1915 he would have been looking much more like the second image above, see also the fund raising poster of the Germans in Texas in my first post.

picture of Franz Joseph. The face is a dead ringer for the one on your watch. Just my opinion. Of course, it looks like von Hindenburg as well...

You shoud know that a group of people, including some relatively expert. thought it was Kaiser Wilhelm I. I don't think he looks completely different, but in all events I think you're almost certainly right.

Well, appreciative is not bad but for me "convinced" is better.
So here are 3 pics: your watch, Wilhelm I. and Franz Joseph I.
If you compare the pics you will notice that the photo of Franz Joseph is almost the same as on your watch(one is with a coat and one without) . . . and look at the decorations: they are almost identical! And pls notice: Wilhelm I. always had his beard with the ends twirled up :=)
