'Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without.'
- Confucius
I really cannot deny that this best describes where my love journey and passion with watches began.
I often view Horology as truly an exquisite art form. I marvel at the fact that Man could use something so unnatural in horological timepiece to lay its mark on something like Time, which one really has no control over.
Such an exquisite equipment, though may never last for eternity, can only be admired for all that it is.
So this new member bestows his greetings from the far east of Hong Kong to this fine forum. I am a simple man, one that finds peace in the simple order of things.
My first and only IWC is the Portuguese Hand Wound. It is a watch that is so simple yet so beautiful. It pays attention to the roots and is a watch that I simply cannot stop wearing. I can say that I am a proud owner because of this and I look forward to owning more IWC's in the future.
I hope to continue to read more about IWC's watches on this forum and more importantly, the life and views of those collectors that wear them.
Warmest Regards,
Nathan
