    Hello IWC forum members,

As an 21 y/o IWC lover who doesn't yet know all ins and outs about complicated movements i have a question: i own the Mark XVI Spitfire and the new Portofino Chronograph, both watches that can be easily adjusted to summer and winter time (or different time zones) but how does one do this with a high precision watch like a perpetual calendar designed to run for ages?

    I was just wondering :)

Happy New Year to all forum users!

I own a Perpetual Calendar, and adjusting to summer and winter time goes in exactly the same way. As often when the watch has a date, you must be careful around the critical period between, say, 20:00 and 4:00. No turning back in this timezone.

    Kind regards,
    Paul
