Here is some "older stuff" before the full gale force of the new models knock the "wind" out of us with SIHH closing in.

One Saturday back home in Singapore I visited both the Marina Bay Sands and the Ion Orchard boutiques, having been informed that the availability in one single location of some of the harder-to-find-these days pieces which are on my wishlist for the next couple of years. That evening rounded off with a fantastic get-together with a couple of forummers.

Here are some pics of a few pieces that require no introduction:

    and a true dream piece:

a few hours & farewells to these magnificent pieces later, I left with the one I arrived with, promising to be reunited with at least one of them again soon, fingers crossed :)i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l497/vanhalen812/SG%20Hublot%20IWC%20and%20GTG%2018Dec11/IWCIonOrchard17Dec1126.jpg

A big thanks to Maggie, Robin, and the staff at both boutiques for making this a big highlight of my trip.

A short while later, a number of forummers and collectors had a small party over great food, and some excellent wine, at Chef Chan's along with their timepieces:

Thanks for the photos Shing. All the watches at the AD and the GTG are fantastic, but the Portuguese Tourbillon Mystère Rétrograde is a knockout! I envy the opportunity to have access to such beauties on regular basis. I could spend a whole day just putting them on my wrist!

    Shing,
That is a lot of amazing hardware - thanks for posting the pictures!
Your DVDD definitely stands out from the crowd. Love the white stitching on the strap, very nice detail/touch.

    Cheers,
    Evan

    LOL.

    the ardoise DVKKE is amazing.

the ruthenium black dial Tourbillon Retrograde Date - scintillating ! this was my first time trying it on and the dial is much clearer than I expected - important because I had to be sure I could see the retrograde date clearly.

so yes .... u me both for boosting up the therapy I think u are referring to. LOL.

Thanks to Shing for posting and Kee Siew for hosting a wonderful dinner paired with an excellent merlot. The food was great, the company and watches even better. It was a pleasure meeting Moti and I hope we have spread the bug to Nick to get him to start buying IWCs soon.
