Btw, thanks everyone for the kudos. As Kevin said, whenever anyone is in NYC, we are always ready for a Big Apple / Flagship Boutique GTG. It's a great tradition now for us and the Boutique staff as well.

I know Alan wishes he could help carry on the tradition as well, but his relocation to warmer climes will limit, but not eliminate his joining us.

Thank you for this wonderful report and pictures. The shots of the Boutique are indeed smashing and it's so great to see you all had a good time.

Kevin: the blue PPC is truly stunning! After seeing both Mark and Giovanni's blue PPC I know what I'm talking about :-)

Alan: you already have a beautiful BPPC, what about a beautiful blue Portuguese Perpetual to keep it company?

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Definitely time well spent, Bill. I'm so happy that our mate from DU was able to get the full treatment, though I am sorry that he was forced to endure that scoundrel, Patrick. At least Kevin was there to make up for it. ;-)

    Well done, sir.

    Regards,
    Adam

Great photos of the NYC boutique - made me feel like I was actually there!

Sorry to Disneyland, but a IWC boutique is a happier place to visit!!

    Hi All,

Firstly, apologies for the delay - straight after I left Kevin and Bill I was off to a bachelors party in NYC and then the next day hopped on a plane to head back to Aus. After getting back here and straight into work I have only just now had the chance to login.

I would like to send out a big thanks to Bill and Kevin for being great hosts - It was a pleasure to meet you both and also Patrick from the IWC flagship store.

To say that it is a great experience to visit the flagship store is an understatement - it is like dying and going to IWC heaven - it is just great to see so many IWC's in one place, as well as a great collection f limited editions that without the forum I would never see - it is always better to see them in the flesh though!

I took a few photos of my own however I will not post them here as they would only be a disservice to the sensational photos Bill took - well done, you managed to capture some sensational shots there.

Seeing some of the new limited edition brown dial watches is something else - I was not looking for a new Portuguese 5001 but the rose gold / brown dial is simply stunning and may make it onto the Christmas list yet.

Everyone, if you get the chance, visit one of the flagships, it is well worth the effort. If you make the trip to the NYC Flagship, catch up with Bill and Kevin, they are both great hosts and great people to meet!

Bill - I will shoot you an email as requested shortly.

Once again, thanks to Bill and Kevin for a memorable trip to New York and also to Jim for being a great host in Austin and a special thanks to MF and IWC for this great forum for which the 2 GTG's would not have been possible.

As a little tease, when I got back in the office I received an email from my AD that something is waiting for me - I will get a chance to head into town and pickup this new item up in the next couple of days and post some pics here . . . :)

    Cheers,

    Ben

I'm glad you got home safe and sound, Ben! You hooked up with two of my favorite people in NYC. to have an experience I hope to duplicate sooner rather than later. It was a pleasure hosting you in the A-town! I'm looking forward to seeing what was waiting at your A.D.'s!!!
