Such a genuine, charismatic friend who wore his heart on his sleeve. When just getting into IWC watches, Kevin you were one of the helpful and very friendly enablers who generously shared just because that was your nature. At SIHH, at our GTGs and the countless fun ramblings over the years - I am honoured to have known you. Rest in peace my blues brother.

    Thang

So sorry to hear this, we have met a few times and Kevin was a truly warm and welcoming person. I very much appreciate I had the opportunity to meet him, last time at SIHH 2015.

Life is unpredictable, that's for sure but this was really shocking. My condolences to his family and closest circle.

    /Anders

I am posting this with a heavy heart. Kevins going away has left all of us shocked and his family devastated ! It has been a pleasure knowing Kevin and I have great memories of all our GTGs.

Having known and interacted with Kevin personally over the last 4 years, it's terrible news for me and my wife indeed. My last communication with him was a 'thank you' when he wished me 'Happy Birthday' over whatsapp in early Feb this year. I don't know what else to say.

RIP Kevin, you will be remembered for being one of the great blue brothers and for being a great friend and confidante.

It is with great sadness that we heard the news today that Kevin Devine, an avid IWC collector and friend of IWC for many years passed away last night. Kevin was a respected contributor in the IWC collectors forum where he developed many friendships and shared his passion for blue dialed watches and his support of the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. He was deeply respected by his fellow collectors and will be greatly missed by everyone. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to his family.

    Sincerely, IWC Schaffhausen

I suspect I am probably typical of a reasonable number of forummers who post sparingly but read daily, to whom the 'Masters' and other regular posters are a constant part of our lives, generously sharing their great knowledge and passion.

Kevin was just such a contributor who I hope was aware of the huge number of lives he touched and enriched through this forum.

He didn't know me but I feel I knew him and will certainly miss his presence.

Heartfelt condolences to all those that did have the privilege of knowing him personally.

    Peter
