Greetings to all, I have a Big Pilot IW500401 purchased in 2008, it's coming up 10 years without a service. It would make sense to assume the seals are most likely not able to perform to the 60m water resistance specifications. Granted the BP is not a divers watch and will most likely never see complete submersion outside of me falling into the pool by accident.
The question I have is although it may not be able to withstand submersion, can it still guard against dust and perspiration? I live in California where high humidity is rare and far apart but how likely is rust forming on the movement likely to be?
A lot of questions and of course there is always a chance but any experiences and feedback would be greatly appreciated.
