My Ingenieur AMG Automatic (with soft strap) and I have been together for a while now and it was love at first sight for me. I have other IWC's but this watch has become the trusted companion for me, going with me everywhere. We have travelled abroad (hot and cold), played tennis (winning and losing), football(men and women) and swam at sea together (fish and others). Whether in a t-shirt or jacket there has never been any second thoughts. Always a pleasure to wear, to look at and to be admired by myself and others. I have spent many happy hours explaining to others about the style, design and the history of the watch. For me it is the sporty look, the solid feel, the in-house movement and the endless details that i keep on discovering that make me admire this 42.5 mm watch so much. Even when there were problems that needed to be seen to i tried my best to find ways around them. Now having returned, after 5 months away being fixed and myself waiting impatiently, absence indeed has made the heart grow fonder!!

nice, but the wait appears unacceptable....

As much as I love IWC and clearly am supportive of the brand, I do not believe a 5 month turn-around time on a repair for a contemporary watch should be tolerated. In the future, feel free to write me and I'll see if I can help.

Individual repair situations need to be handled off-line, so if others have comments about their own situation please feel free to E-mail them.

    Regards --and welcome back here!

I fully understand what you mean

I have several beautiful watches, and this one (with the titan bracelet) I am quite fond of. I'll put it this way: the most pleasure per money entity. Be sure, I love all my watches, but "the more expensive the happier" is simply not true.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing, as it happens, titan Inge Automatic

    that's a long wait (nt)

What is an average turn around for servicing and or repair for an Ingy, and do you normaly return it to the AD or ship direct back to the factory?

    sorry for the noob questions
