My wife and I spent this afternoon in Geneva. She wanted to do some shopping and I needed to get a strap at the boutique. It's always great to see Jan, Nadia and Mauro (who wasn't there today). Jan had the strap waiting for me and in the holiday spirit, Nadia brought us champagne. We weren't there too long since we had other stops to make but it was a very enjoyable visit.

I didn't take any photos at the boutique but a bit later on our way back to the train station, I took this panorama that captures the feel of Geneva during the holidays. Enjoy the New Year weekend everyone.

It has to be nice to have Geneva so close to home so you can do these day trips. Post pics of the new strap addition.

I was on the other side of that lake--Geneva about a month ago.. Geneva is beautiful. I tried to post photo directly but not sure how to do on this site.[img]http://mark-kay-photography.smugmug.com/Other/Switzerland-2012/26615615_fkS4Jn#!i=2225265283&k=XBTVPJp[IMG]

Sorry guys, nothing exciting as far as the strap is concerned. I'm selling my VC AT, on which I had a short strap. I'm putting a regular length strap on it for the sale. Will sell the short strap.

I really like it but there's another watch I lust after more (and for which I have a great opportunity) so the VC AT is being sacrificed to the gods of watch financing. At the boutique yesterday I tried on the incoming and am certain that I've made the right decision. Reveal on the new addition after SIHH (it's NOT an SIHH introduction).

    Valid (and superb) reason.

Thanks Nad. I love doing panoramas, even though my slightly old computer can be painfully slow when processing the HUGE files.

As for the incoming, in my relatively brief time here, I have learned well. So rather than a reveal I'll provide a tease. The incoming is, in my opinion, a perfect sports/weekend watch.

    David,

Great Panaramic .. Your photos just keep getting better and better. You should start a separate "sub" Forum for IWC photographers...There's plenty of great candidates from the current members to form a club. You would only need one category - Gallery

    Keep those pic's a comin',

    Andy

I like the idea of a photo gallery on this site. Is there a set of instructions for posting images into the current threads? Do you have to use a specific image gallery?
