Stopped by Bucherer in Geneva to see the limited edition (One of Thirty) blue dial ,white gold, Big Pilot Perpetual.
Despite friendly enablers Kevin and Shing, I resisted temptation and decided my original steel version was sufficient.
Here is a comparison shot of both watches. The picture does not do justice to how good that blue dial looks.

IMHO black is the best dial for that watch. It gives a really wild look to this masterpiece! Apart from that, the value for money for SS BPPC as you already know is much better than white gold one.
