Cardcat..I can only presume you overlooked the fact both the gentlemen you mentioned are paid-monies professional actors, I doubt Mr. Spacey was around when the Schaffhausen brand was revered for being 'understated' (specially looking at how he wears a wristwatch on his wrist/hand).
Plenty of known celebrities collect Rolex watches from thier own volition....to no fanfare, i know for a fact they know thier ref's (lots that can be got free of charge don't intrest them in the least) and have done since pre the mid '90's...i doubt very much the paid mob above had heard of Schaffhausen back then.
Forme isn't really following function when customers are smashing thier own goods into coffee tables and door frames..charging them a premium for making a model in ceramic to circumnavigate this.. is'nt really high art.
