Our partners can sometimes surprise us at the most unusual moments. Obviously my girlfriend has been following my love for IWC watches and late yesterday evening she said "I think you are missing a Mark XII from your collection. I have one".....

As you can probably predict instead of heading for the brandy bottle I headed for an Ardbeg Renaissance to understand the context fully....

I am allowed to include it "pseudo-like" to my collection but she did say that I should get a mens Mark XII to match her ladies Mark XIi so she doesnt feel lonely. What a great challenge.

I asked her if she will become an IWC collector and she didnt say a word (unsusually). My goodness what lies ahead..

    Very nice Andrew!

You will probably get some severe competition collecting! Make sure though that you won't be bidding on the same items :-)

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

is that the ladies' Mark XII?

...which is of course smaller than the "regular" one...and a very nice watch in its own right (and a bargain IMO most of the time).

    Regards and compliments,
    Michael

    A nice pair but ...

... one IWC virus is bad but when one's partner catches it, the consequences could be very expensive.

    An IWC surprise

    That's quite a surprise! Nice!

I did something similar to my wife as well... I turned to her last week and offered up my Tag Link which she loves, just became too small for me at this point.

Perhaps September is the month of giving???

    :)

Really like it; my wife wears:

    Lady Mark XII
    Midsize pilot classic
    Male size Mark XII
    Mark XII GL

    so... it's a girl thing I guess!

    Greetings, Martijn
