    Now I have a dilemma.

I had pretty much decided that I would be getting the white dialed hand wound port once it was introduced and then this comes along! Now I really am torn. In all events, it is great to see some really nice watches being launched. I am looking forward to my fellow forum members' reports from SIHH after they've seen the watches.
    Regards,
    Dan

Hi Paul! As MF correctly points out >

often all one needs or wants especially in formal situations is the basic information. In fact, Panerai calls their models like this "base".

We have the same thinking with 24 h dials too :-)

Nice MF, any photos of the black dial model?

Also, any hope of convincing Herr Kern to put the cursive IWC on this model? Especially with a model like this the cursive is so much warmer and makes the watch much more personal.

    Hello Michael,
Thank you very much for your comprehensive reply.
You have certainly provided me with food for thought. Sorry for the brief reply but I'm just off to have a look at my bank statements......
    Regards,
    Matthew

    Black, cursive

and done. That would be perfect. This is close, though. I would very much like to see the black dial.

I am on the verge of getting this one :)

A real classic and the thickness, or rather thinness, is the deal maker.

FA Jones is too big for me and this one just what I am looking for.

Thanks for sharing with us, Sir.

    Cheers,
    Wenda

    It's true...

my perspective on what constitutes "large" has been totally skewed over the past year! :<))
