    Hi All
I would like to introduce my self as a new member here, I registered years ago when i bought my Ingy but the old email address is gone so i have had to re register, since i got the bug again after visiting the Museum a couple of weeks ago i bought a mint 1972 Yacht club and (because i could not find a 1970 aquatimer ot Ingeneur that i could afford) I look forward to reading more about vintage IWC. And if the buget allows collecting some more.

    Current Collection
    Ingeneur 2009
    Yacht Club 1972
    Rolex 1680 1978
    Omega Aqua Terra 2007

Lots of my own creations and Schuhrens (my small hobby brand)
A few other vintages like West end watch Co

Oh and i am a British Horolocical Institute member and certified watch technition.

I think it is a bit of a marmite case shape (love or hate) looks like the wears large?

Welcome to the forum, Andy. Nice photo of your Yacht Club. It never ceases to amaze me how creatve people are with the backgrounds of their photos. I never would have thought of tortilla chips. Looks great.

This one isn't truly vintage but from the Vintage Collection. Still a few to be had out there... :)

@ Dmath i took that whilst waiting for Skyfall to start, nothing creative about it just that they were on my knee at the time, but i quite like the contrating colours in the photo.

    Welcome Andy,

It's always great to meet other collectors with an outspoken interest in vintage watches.

Personally I find the IWC forum an extraordinary organized enthusiast network where it is possible to get qualified feedback on virtually any question ord matter.

Hi Andy, so this was last Thursday @ eight pm? I had the same menue waiting for the same movie. I saw what could be done with the watch he was wearing, imagine the havoc that could be done with the Mission Earth on his wrist...
    Welcome to the club!
