One of the great aspects of the IWC Forum is having the opportunity to visit with follow members over a glass of wine and dinner. Last night my wife and I joined fellow Forum member fmattes and his wife for a lovely evening in NYC.
Not only did I learn more about his IWC knowledge, but also about Apple computers, which I am now learning having acquired a MacBook Pro recently.
Here is one informal shot at the dinner table. I am wearing my 3711 and he has his UTC proudly displayed.

Another NYC GTG.
It also was a pleasure for me and my wife to meet you and Mary for dinner, Bill.
Of course i visted the Apple store today, which is very impressive and the salespersons there know much more about Macs than the salespersons in most watch stores I visited in NYC know about the watches they sell :-)
It was a very impressive week in NYC but we are also quite lucky to get out of this hot city now and head on for Cape Coral in Florida tomorrow. But i am afraid that it also will be quite hot there.

I was there a week before but.....
I was in contact with Bill before my trip and I was planning to meet him during my stay.
I didn't take into account that my wife and two daughters had it all planned for Museums and their shopping spree!!
So there was literally no time!!!
here are a couple of pictures, on where I am with my wife Teresa and I proudly wear my CFI #11, the second one with my daughters Maria and Alice posing as the Degas's Dancer at the metropolitan Museum.
