    Any information on this watch? I cant find any pictures of similar og the web. It has a calibre 85 movement, case back number is 1224797 and movement serial number is 123545. Runs like a dream, pretty accurate.

    Hello, this is a nice example of an early automatic IWC cal 85, it is from 1951. The cal 85 was made during two years, 1950 and 1951, the evolved into cal 852.

    I love the dial, can't remeber seeing one of these. Thank you for posting.

    Thank you for the info. Watch has some patina to dial and minute hand, but pretty good shape, movement looks great, original crown with fish. Do not know if glass is original, has been lightly polished. Don't think case or case back has been polished.
