    Hi folks

Does anyone have any ideas what kind of buckle would be appropriate for a ref 666 Ingenieur from 1963?

The watch I have has evidently become separated from its original buckle many years ago, so I'm looking for something that would be roughly right, from an appropriate year. I doesn't have to be exactly correct, just roughly appropriate.

I see several different styles of buckle with different IWC Logo in the emporium of Messrs E. Bay, and I'm not really sure where to start!

    Thanks in advance.

    Guy

This is a fitting buckle, but rare.

Guy, if you don't mind me saying so.. As you have the "right watch", and you know its value and beauty ... Why settle for anything less than the 100% correct buckle?

Yes, in the interim and to be able to wear it you could put a temporary buckle on it , but in my humble opinion that watch deserves the correct buckle.

    Thanks guys.

Well now I know what to look out for!

It will probably take a while to find the right buckle, and it certainly won't prevent me from wearing it in the mean time, but yes, it would be good to find the correct one, rather than correct-ish.
