    Hello all!

It’s time to announce the winners of the April Photo Contest.

Every shot entered had its merits. It was very difficult to choose just one winner.

    ...

Thanks to all that took part and made it a success. Thank you to IWC and MF for hosting us and a Big Thank you to Tracy for your idea and generous gifts.

    Best regards,

    -Joe

    Aloha all!

I was having a late dinner last night when I received an e-mail from Joe White telling me that he had picked the "Best Picture" winner for the April Photo Contest.

"Trace - Start getting ready to ship those books" he said, so I dropped everything and started packing the books to mail out!

Thanks to all for participating in the contest and a very special thanks to Joe for judging the contest!

Hats off to the winners and runners up. Great job and some amazing photos.

While there are many good photos - when I saw PPGRIG photo I knew it was the winning shot ( and that was before he shared with us he took hundreds of pictures to come up with this one).

Well done and thanks to all for the initiative and great IWC watch pictures.

    Best regards

I totally agree with your choices Joe, especially for the best picture, terrific foggy AT!

I just disagree with the best wrist shot choice. Argiris, come on!!! LOL

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to Tracy for an excellent contest! I am especially proud of the Honorable Mention for my brother Argiris! We both share a dubious reputation for some of our photographic efforts, and it is gratifying to see him recognized for a great pic!!! :>)

    Champ -

There were a lot of entries from people who usually post on other watch forums and I hope that they continue to be active participants here on the Official IWC Forum!

    Dear all,

Thank you SO much for your kind responses! You all did an amazing job and so many deserved to win! It had been a pleasure to see your photographic skills and today it is highly gratifying to me to see that the pictures I took were also appreciated by the community!

I also want to mention Tracy's and Joe's generosity for having led such a fantastic contest! Thank you so much!

The non photoshop only phone camera rule has proved that everything can be done, creativity has no limits! I am convinced your artistic skills are now triggered, and that many beautiful shots are to come!

Congratulations to all of you that have made the effort to participate to the contest, congratulation to the winners, hats off!

    Sincerely,

    Guillaume alias PPGRIG

Tracy, a warm thank you for your generous competition and great initiative. I enjoyed the tough challenge and having to push the limits of possibility with a camera phone. (And testing my own personal 'limits' - having to trespass, taking photos from the floor in the middle of busy crowds, and even having to push the 'shutter' button with my nose!). lol...

Guillaume... congratulations and enjoy your hard-deserved trophy!

    Regards,
    Thang

Well, it is said that the picture is made by the photographer, not the camera. I can't wait to see what pictures you will post without the limit ;o)

I just regret I could not participate although I have planned and really wanted. Few ideas but even fewer time to realize then. Hopefully next time.

Kokoro, when are you gonna start the May or June contest? I think it s a good sign that the community here lives by such contests - with such great response and view rates, even without IWCs direct involvement! You should continue!

    Aloha Regulateur -

I was pleased with the way that the photo contest turned out and I hope to run another photo contest later this year as long as Joe White agrees to be the judge again.

A big thanks to Tracy for his generosity.

I received the package a couple days ago but was only able to get to my office today. As a physician, any package from an attorney always creates anxiety for my office manager.

I got home quick to open it.

quick stop at the drycleaners before i got home.

It was a fun contest. A win by random selection, but i gave it my best with 10 iphone pics. Thanks to Tracy and Joe for judging.
