Aquatimer 3536 Ti without case serialnumber

yesterday i got my aquatimer 3536 delivered. on the iwc service papers from 2008/01 was a serialnumber 2724XXX

normally the casenumber is right under the submarine between the two screw-holes so looking for a serial on the case i couldn't find one. yet becoming older, could it be my eyes ?

what is the possible reason there is no casenumber visible ?

1) IWC "forgot" the serial;
2) it disappeared due to heavy polishing

according seller this watch is almost unworn and i believe him so could it be forgotten ?

btw. it is a great watch and for me a big improvement compared to the heavier ss version as i wear it on velcro's.

Probably you should ask this question to the service department of IWC. On my ref. 3536 Ti there was a case nr of 7 digits: 2.944.XXX.

I have two Ti 3536s, and both....

have serial numbers on the back. I'd be suspicious of one that didn't.
