Would someone be so kind as to e-mail me a copy of the (English preferably) owner's manual for Aquatimer Automatic 2000 - IWC3538, thank-you.

Purchased a second-hand Ti version, unfortunately the instruction booklet is missing. Thank-you for the help.

Thank-you, Leo, I really appreciate your swift answer. - And in general, this welcoming and helping spirit of the IWC community is really impressive.

Welcome Petr, I see that you got them already. And welcome to the forum. You are right, this is the best place to be for IWC collectors.

Leo, is there any chance I could also have a copy of the owner's manual for the aquatimer 2000 3538 model? If you still have it, that is. Like Petr I have bought a second hand aquatimer and it did not come with a manual. It's such a great watch though and I'd love to get hold of a copy of the manual.

    Thank you!

On another matter: I don't suppose you know what the original RRP was on this watch? I can't seem to find this information and just curious to see how the old (2007) Aquatimers are performing in terms of new v second hand value... I was originally thinking of purchasing either a new Tag Aquaracer or the second hand Aquatimer. Part of the reason for choosing the Aquatimer was that I felt it would perhaps maintain its value better than the Tag. (Also the Tag is a very modern look, which I thought would age more quickly.) Any idea as to the Aquatimer's original RRP? I have the Titanium/Rubber strap combo (altho already thinking that I will want to get the bracelet at some point).

The US price list from September 2007 listed the 353804 (AT 2000, titanium on rubber strap) at $4000. That really is an amazing watch with the titanium case, lightweight and impervious to the effects of saltwater, and the 200 bar rating. I would go for that one, even used, over the Tag for sure!

Thanks. Still like the look of the Tag (and I always wanted a Tag when I was younger), but I'm glad I went for the Aquatimer. Can't wait to take it divingIt would be great if IWC included an additional rubber strap designed to fit over wetsuits because the one that comes with the watch is much too short. Having said that, so was the 'diving extension' on the Tag bracelet when I tried it on in the shop.
