    Hello,

I have question for aquatimer owners, because only aquatimer on rubber strap I had hold in hands is the one I have bought.

I have bought aquatimer (ref. IW356811 )in december 2013. After 1/2 year of daily wearing I have noticed on rubber strap - the part with holes is loose, while part with buckle is not moving.

Here are pictures but it is hard to capture movement on picture, so I included .gif on external source.

Is it common on all aquatimers? Will I get it repaired/replaced at my authorized dealer?

    Thanks for answers,

    Matej.

    Hi Matej,

I have the same watch but not this movement or 'play'. Simple advise: go to an IWC dealer for a quick inspection.

    Regards,

    Bob

    Story ending:

Following Bob's advice I have visited my authorised dealer. Dealer send whole watch to IWC Vienna servis centre where both parts of rubber band were replaced. Now my aquatimer is perfect again. (it took 2 weeks, much less than I expected)

Great to hear - I have not experienced that with my Aquatimer strap of the same design and was wondering if the metal quick release mechanism had come loose from the rubber. I am glad the problem was rectified so quickly.
