Aquatimer vintage and straps

Does any one know if the black soft strap from Pilot’s Watch Chrono-Automatic Edition TOP GUN will fit the Aquatimer vintage?

If You have used other straps for Your Aquatimer vintage other than the original please do let me know.

Aquatimer vintage and straps

The vintage aquatimer accepts a 22/18mm strap. The Chrono-Automatic Top Gun has a lug width of 21mm.

The IWC Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph Edition Top Gun has a lug width of 22mm. You can use this strap.

In my opinion, the strap on the Double Chrono looks better than the Chrono-Auto.

I have never seen a different strap on the VC Aquatimer, but I think a vintage (distressed) leather strap would look awesome.

I agree with You on the leather strap, I think it will look great just like the one on the platinium version.
