I am going to buck the trend here, I went for the black dial -

However I do like the white dial also. At present, all of the watches in my collection have black dials, a bit of a "thing" I am going through at the moment - I may grow out of it :)
One thing that has only been lightly touched on is that I think that the dial is not why people go for the white one, it is the bezel and lume - the yellow on black really stands out and does increase the "sportiness" of the watch where the white on black on white is a little more subdued. If you want to maximise wrist time, then the white dial may be the go but if you will be mixing it in with another watch of more, then you may like the black dial with the yellow - I have had a surprising number of comments about mine.
As others have also said, go for the bracelet with the initial purchase. This is also part of the reason I went with the black dial - my dealer did not have a white dial with bracelet, only strap at the time. The reason to go with the bracelet when you buy it is that the bracelet is a good 20% of the total price of the watch and at purchase time you can push the dealer for a deal on the watch and then easily buy the rubber strap at a later date without having to sell your children whereas I felt the process would be a lot more painful if you purchased the watch with the strap and then purchased the bracelet down the track.
Cheers,
Ben
