    Hi All,

A few years ago I sold my GL Automatic 88/100 to a felow collector.

My wife was a bit upset when I sold it because it had a great memmory when we bought it at the ponte de vechio... it was a great day and a truely machnificant sales women... she appeared to speak Dutch and we visted the shop nearly every year afterwards..... she knows us by heart; hello Mr. Bonthond she remembered our names!

Anyway.. the fellow collector wanted to sell it.... and I have her back. Not to sell... (my wife wears it now...).

    Greetings, Martijn

Not only is this a great watch line,

but I really like Titanium cases- they feel good! Perhaps IWC will begin again in the future to use Titanium. They are great at it, as this watch shows!

    Due to ..........

other priorities, I have sold around 30 of my private IWC collection and yes I regret selling every one of them but at least I have owned and appreciated them for a while. All have gone to fellow collectors and not "into the trade" so I am content .
The memories will never leave, even if the watches have.
and of course there are the ones coming in to look forward to
    Regards
    Ivan

    Lucky you, congratulations

Very nice to get this kind of a watch back. A pilot's watch in titanium, I find that a perfect combination. What is GL?

I too hope that IWC will make titanium watches again at some moment in the future. About 20 years ago I was offered a titanium Ingenieur that was finished in a special polished way, and it almost looked like steel. That could be a possibility if shiny is the way to go.

    Kind regards,
    Paul, wearing ss VC Portuguese
