This morning instead of having a quiet breakfast at home I was invited to join another IWC enthusiast for a "breakslow" discussion about our IWC watches. (I think on a Sunday morning there is every need to relax and takes things slowly). It was a wonderful couple of hours and one of the best morning watch discussions I ever experienced......Here are the watches that kept us occupied enthusiastically......

Perhaps you can recognize all pieces.

If I had to leave with only one piece it would unquestionably have been the Minute Repeater I would have left with after being charmed to life by it. I repeatedly wanted to hear the beautiful enchanting sound of the Hour, quarter hour and minute chimes......absolutely wonderful. If that one wasnt available perhaps I would settled with the white gold ardoise dialed Tourbillon.......what a great start to a Sunday.

Hope you enjoy the pictures which follow.....

    Wow..

That puts you well over the average of 2.5 IWC's that is supposed to be the average!

I hope nobody got a hernia from carrying all these watches :-)

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Some fantastic ARDOISE and Perpetual action...

Thanks for sharing - I love the Portuguese Tourbillon Mystere.

    Power-ARDOISE!

I am sure if the discussion moved off-topic a little - perhaps it was discussion of "run-flat tires", "armored doors", "bullet-proof windscreens" and turbochargers to transport these beauties.

    Richard.
