Nice thread Tonny! I'll throw a couple into the mix.

Nice thread Tonny! I'll throw a couple into the mix.

Congratulations Tonny. It's a lovely and significant watch that has a wonderful history and provenance to remind us of our good friends Kevin and Giovanni. I'm so glad you retained This BP LPP.
Blue watches have become more prevelant in my collection over the last couple of years. Aided by the addition of 2 very special ones as well.
Firstly VC Ingenieur Lareus which came from Kevin

Aquatimer Cousteau Diver originally Kevin's, then Gio's.

I feel honoured to care for them now and keep their memories within our group.

At last I can join in on one of these threads.. Tada!
And you're all right, capturing the blue is tough.
Absolutely perfect blue.
Cheers Chris
It's the Laureus Spitfire Chronograph 3717-12.
Had a silver AT for a short while, knowing all the while that it was the Cousteau variant that I really wanted. Couldn't be happier now that it's here – it's the perfect blue for me – a versatile, denim-colored indigo in flat light, but it comes alive in direct sunlight. ...And looking back at all the comments, am I the first 3290 Cousteau owner here to check in?

Congrats to your bluety! Two really nice pictures!
