    Recently, I had the privilege of having some "wrist" time with a timepiece that requires no introduction in this forum. Here are some pics:

    You need a huge wrist or a flight jacket with the watch worn over it to pull that one off.

    But it still is a great piece.

    Very nice, I noticed one of the large auction houses has one of these going up in the next week or so, would be a very nice purchase but I think the price guide had it sitting out of my bracket at the moment.

    A rare find, thanks for posting Shing! I was told the early pilots strap them on the thighs instead of their wrists. But I find it a bit difficult to read the time when it's strapped on the thighs. Maybe some forum members can enlighten me.

    As far as I can tell, the thigh stuff is not true. But the watches weren't worn on wrists, but rather on the forearm of flight jackets. The planes weren't heated and it got cold up there. Heavy jackets were needed.
