At YYZ, I hopped on to the golf-cart because my foot was sore and painful to walk :-(

Once I landed in Shanghai, I had plans to meet up with a couple of local friends:

    i28.photobucket.com/albums/c236/nad1/OrientFeb2012/L1100447.jpg

This was on the CNN news that night:

    The following morning..........

    Crossing the Hangzhou Bay Bridge.............

    Arriving in Ningbo:

    i28.photobucket.com/albums/c236/nad1/OrientFeb2012/L1100484.jpg

This is a new hotel room configuration that I've not stayed in before, but I like it, nice and open space.............

    i28.photobucket.com/albums/c236/nad1/OrientFeb2012/L1100485.jpg

At the Lunge before my first meeting:

    i28.photobucket.com/albums/c236/nad1/OrientFeb2012/L1100490.jpg

I had a bad cold so the Lounge staff made me some ginger-tea, very powerful and effective stuff, LOL!!!!!!!

    i28.photobucket.com/albums/c236/nad1/OrientFeb2012/L1100491.jpg

A few days of business is all wrapped up in Ningbo and time to head to HK!

    At the Ningbo airport......

    Lounge:

It appears that they've redecorated the Lounge in a new color scheme ;-))))

    i28.photobucket.com/albums/c236/nad1/OrientFeb2012/L1100578.jpg

On the way to the Hotel ICON, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting HK!

    i28.photobucket.com/albums/c236/nad1/OrientFeb2012/L1100581.jpg

That evening, dinner with friends, we enjoyed a 2008 wine that is yet to be bottled for distribution, but we had one for tasting.

It was surprisingly 'great' with the Chinese food!!!!!

    i28.photobucket.com/albums/c236/nad1/OrientFeb2012/L1100593.jpg

.....and quickly starting seeing some amazing novelties.

Here's a beautiful BP PC with brushed RG case and Orange markers....LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Portuguese dial is called the tobacco-dial. It first appeared to me like there was a Yellow protective film over the dial, hahaha!!!!

    Hi Nad,
    Great trip report, as usual.
    Brushed gold BPP looks terrific.

Thanks for sharing your Big Pilot's travels! Your 5002 really is a stunner... it's these kind of pictures/adventures that is making my resistance to eventually get one pretty futile! Regards, Vinhthang

Nad, it was a fun travelogue...as usual! I really enjoyed the pics of the BPPC and 'tobacco dial' Portuguese. They are beautiful watches. I'm looking forward to Part 2! Your BP gets to travel to the most interesting places!

Nad, two travel posts in rapid order and a third to follow....and much to my disgust not a single mention of trigger pulling. Is your email address no longer valid "notenoughwatches@....."? I even checked your travels of Nad post previously, no trigger pulling there and not even a travel post?
All is not right in the world if this continues!

    Hey Greg,

Your post made me laugh, LOLOL!!!!!!!!

My IWC 'trigger pulling' budget had all been spent on the BP PC earlier last year.

Having said that, I have added a few (well, maybe more than a few) of that other brand ;-))))

Suffice to say that with some of the new BP LE releases in 2012, I will definitely be pulling the trigger more than once, LOL!

    Hahaha!

Thank Heavens for that, thought that you must have had to lend a few billion Euros to some Govt member of the Euro zone!

So, I and the sales staff of certain Richemont brands can sleep peacefully knowing that you are still living up to that email address!

I think though that we need a series of daily photos from you to show the current stock and because it encompasses that other brand you need to show your am, pm and evening watches on a daily basis. Similar to Alan's "blue period" he showed last week!

Hope you are not busy at work as this task may take some time I guess! Tell your bro you are not feeling well what with that leg cold and travels all taking their toll. If your recuperation requires retail therapy then that is understandable although I doubt you will find a Doc to write that prescription.

Nad, thanks for once again taking us on your travels. Your BP certainly has seen it's share of air miles as you rapidly approach your 2nd million mile award. Clear skies.
    Regards,

Was haben diese Photos mit IWC und den Zielen des Forums zu tun?

  • Master
    23 Feb 2012, 2:47 p.m.

If my German is good enough to understand your question, I see no contradiction of Nad's post and the objectives of the Forum. There is plenty of IWC content in this travelogue post. Many of us share our experiences, travels and fascination with the IWC's we take with us on journeys and our IWC sightings in AD's around the world.

Nad - another great journey with great shots. I completely disagree with Herr Adelsberger, to me this is indeed sharing the IWC passion - and I believe that is one of the main purposes of this forum :-)
