Big Pilot Crown Question

I just got a Big Pilot and love it (5004). I have a question about the crown. When I screw it back in by pressing down and turning to the right, it continues to wind the movement until it is firmly screwed. Should it still wind while going from the winding position to its normal, screwed in position?

Yes, it continues to wind until screwed in all the way.

I believe that all sprung screw-in crowns require some gentle manipulation to guide into winding position.

Apologies, I meant into locked down position, but perhaps the BP is different!
