My new hotel of choice in HK is the new Hotel ICON!!!!!! More about that later ;-)

So here's a little hole-in-the-wall spot where I eat the best food in HK, only 304 tables!!!!!

The wine is not so bad either, LOL!

I'd come here just for the selection of fresh oysters!

So I am heading up in the elevator (or is it down????!!!) and the reflection of the buttons catches my eye.

I had to make a quick draw of the camera to capture this..........

At the IWC Flagship Boutique for the Volvo Ocean race Evenet.

The race had a stopover in Sanya on Hainan Island, so the skipper was invited to join in!

The following day I was heading back home to Montreal!

At the Kowloon Airport Express Station there's the Elements Mall........

With a few extra minutes to spare, guess where I headed in the Mall????????????????????????????

On the train to HKG:

I had never seen the Airbus 380, here's Singapore Airlines jet...........

Settling in again for the 15+ hours flight to YYZ and I still have a connection to get home!

Aside from the new pilots whether stock or LE inc CF3 of your recent travels, I get the impression you were drawn towards the Bucherer Portuguese 3714 and the Portugese Piaget white dial, do you think there may be trigger pull on them or anything else? Or am I reading your comments wrong?

What do you think of the Yacht Club? I've had mine about 6 weeks and I'm very impressed. It wears well and is a real eye catcher.

Just like the Ti Inge & Ceramic/Ti DaVinci, this YC grows on me every time I see it.

Nad, I pick up the Steel YC (Like Shing's) just after Christmas. Was looking at the VT Portofino like yours but it was sold out from under me before I could pull the trigger. Told it would take 8 weeks to get another in so I got what I Really wanted the YC. Still interested in the Port but the new pilots and a CF have a bigger draw. Soo many wants soo little cash! LOL
I'll come back to you later in the year about the ICON.

I was surprisingly impressed with the watch. I was skeptical from the photos, but the watch is more substantial than my first impressions.

Not trying to stir the pot but, that Worldtimer would make a nice CF3.

And was Shing's sublet at the Boutique off limits for pictures?

Alan, Shing has promised to show me his sublet when I'm in HK in mid Oct.

Agreed that the world timer would be the perfect CF3 but that is another story.

Nad, the Volvo Ocean Race event @ the flagship looked exciting. Unfortunately, I was out of HK on that day and missed the event. Hopefully, we will have another chance to catch-up next time

I've got the YC as well with the white dial, but tried the YC Volvo on just the other day. Impressive piece with it's matte dark grey'ish apperance and sooo light maybe my new grale.
