Big congrats! I would love to get my hands on one of these - anyone has any leads?

whomever gets or got that last piece at the geneva boutique is super lucky. Wonder how they even had one at that store....
Friends, I spoke to Guillaume at the IWC Boutique in Geneva - there is no unspoken on in their boutique. Someone apparently mistook a Herritage one had in the window. In fact, all Safari ones were prepaid for, thus they are all sold and would never sit in the window.
The Genva Boutique do have the last Tribute to Pallweber 150th in stainless steel with blue dial in the world, so if someone is looking for that piece, call the boutique and ask for Guillaume.
Cheers,
P.
And if someone takes delivery of their Safari and for some reason don't get along with it (yes, it happens :-)) please let me know.

Hello Fleek,
I was in the Geneva IWC Boutique last Thursday and there was 1 watch on stock.
Regards Urs
Thanks for the information.
A friend called the Geneva boutique and they said they never had one in stock, much less would deisplay it in the window.
They said someone must have mistaken the Titanium heritage BP for it (they have that in stock)
They also are going to have a new geneva boutique rattrapante portugeiser LE soon though, it looks pretty cool.
Congrats!
That's an awesome BP!
Hi Erwin
congratulation for your new purchase- awesome watch! I went few days ago to the IWC Boutique in Milan to see the watch "live". I was truly impressed by the color of the titanium which I really liked and by some historical details, like the fish on the crown but with some important updates (black date window). I was just a bit disappointed by the box- it is a plain black box with no reference to the limited edition "Tribute to 5002", etc.. In the shop, they were not sure that it was the right pair for the Safari- how is your box, if I can ask? Do you have any picture? And what are the other parts of the set, if any? This is the box that they have showed me in the boutique:

Finally got my Safari in. Just in time for the weekend! Worth the long wait, indeed. Here's the first couple of shots of the piece. Will try to do a proper lume shot with a tripod this coming weekend. Even the arabic numerals light up! Love how significantly lighter it is compared to its steel sibling. I can last all day with it on now -hardly feel the heft.

Huge congrats to the Safari! I like it a lot that the numerals are also with lume

Nothing special. It just came in your usual large IWC box.

Thanks! The 5002 still has the best lume for me. But this one is pretty close. Much, much better than the 5009's, in my opinion.
Here's my first attempt at a Lume shot with a tripod. Need to work on cutting out the sapphire crystal reflecting the ambient light. Maybe later. But you guys get an idea how it looks like. Checking out the accuracy of the piece later.
