I am thinking of swapping my current IWC Portuguese Perpetual black strap for a dark blue strap. I think it will look good and matches the blue dial. If anyone has done that before, please share some pics here! Thanks.

A dark blue strap might look good if it were dark enough for the dial. I like the tonal variations in the Santoni straps - you might find one that works well.

The color of the Portoguese-Strap (500107) should fit well, don“t you think so?

I bought a blue Alligator strap to go with my Laureus Yacht Club. I thought it worked great. I know it's not same watch/blue but I think it will work well.

i'd love to see the yacht club in dark BLUE rubber... still not sure why that wasn't considered.

Just got it! So what u think? But it is hard to show the blue hue in photos as it is a dark shade of blue.

It is too hard to focus on the strap with that spectacular dial in the foreground

Looks good! But a you said its hard to get the right light for a good pic. What so you say in comparison to the black one?

I think both are just as nice but of course the dark bkue strap is a more refreshing change. Also as blue is so often associated with Platinum, it kind of give the watch a more premium feel.
