    Was looking for a 22/22 leather strap, that could match the "tool-watch-feel" of my 5002. Contacted a guy, who has made a couple of straps to me before, and after a short waiting periode, this arrived yesterday;

A fat rugged strap, and my experiense tells me that the more i use it, the more soft it gets.

And a side shot, to expose the raw side of the strap.

looks good jesper. i like the ruggedness and stitching just like the original buffalo. (i'm a fan however of the rivets (although they serve no purpose)).

    Jesper,

Looks like a miniature belt. That strap means business ! Very nice indeed.

Jesper, may I ask if you could provide a pic of the buckle/strap end ? Would like to see how a 22/22 finishes off. BTW, is it black or dark brown ?

    Thanking you in advance,

    Andy

It is sort of a belt, but seeing that the 5002 case is rather thick, it can carry a burly strap like this.

The color is dark brown, and it's easier to see in this picture

It's good to change straps and have fun. I like this combo.

To tell the truth though, if there's something IWC remains unbeatable, that is straps and bracelets.

They're quite expensive but, they're definitely worth.

I'm not a BP guy but its original strap is simply wonderful.

Enjoy your new strap and wear your BP (the nicest one to me) in good health!

    Jesper...

Thanks for the pic. Agreed...the BP handles that thick puppy just fine. I really like the color and the 22/22 non-tapered finish.

Enjoy that new strap on IMHO, the best looking BP so far !

Hi Jesper, I like the new combo!

Even before I saw the buckle, I suspected that it was originally meant for another brand, hehehe!!!!!

    Jesper,

Really like the color, going back to a brown strap from a black one on my 5002.

    regards,
    Kevin
