Lately,I've become more engrossed in the Big Pilot. I've noticed that on the limited edition models the date window has a "chrome relief" which isn't part of the dial this feature was also prominent on the BP 5002.In the normal run of the mill BP issue this relief isn't featured. Could someone explain this please.
    Regards.
    Kenneth.

Kenneth, yes one get easily absorbed studying days and days into the Big Pilot. And careful it can lead to eventually getting many BPs!

Indeed there are slight variations throughout all the BPs. Raised makers for example exist in the 5002 platinums in black and blue... but not in the regular 5002.

    Regards,
    Thang

    Kenneth, definately not going mad.

Simply inflicted with a rampantly spreading Übervirus - it's already in your brain stem. The prognosis is clear - you will get more and more into BP quagmire.

    Enjoy!
