pretty sure this topic has been covered many times previously...still, with all pilots gathering in Geneva....would it be possible to get comments and associated photos of BPs on small wrists...say 6.75-7inch?? greetings,
I second that. I took the opportunity in Geneva and asked Michael and some other fellow collectors for their honest opinion on the Big Pilot strapped to my 7" wrist. While the watch looks big indeed, they all independently stated that this watch has its name for a reason. I has to be big. They convinced me.
Nad, these are truly impressive watches. Congrats!
Such a great collection, and lovely wrist to match Nad !! With a watch like that and it`s presence there is no need to worry about wrist size, the watch says it all.
Must ad, in spite of all the great new models 2016, for now i still prefer the ref 5002 with font, lay out, and that super cool long second hand with paddle on the short balance end. It is exquisite.
My great pleasure, Mark! It is oh so nice to meet people like you, who share the fetish for blue sunburst dials. :-) I hope next time we will have more time to talk and drool over all those beautiful watches.
[QUOTE="Nad Zakem"]You should have absoloutly no issues with a BP.
My wrist is 7" and easily wear up to 48mm. Here's a few pics of the BP on my wrist......................
Nad, thanks for the reply and very useful information with excellent lineup of photos...as usual... great watches of course... if I have to chose one...must say, would still be The ONE...5002..(2nd photo shows the perfectness of this model).. greetings, yitzhak
Thang, I'm well thanks, just saw you had great time in Geneva, excellent!!..of course I remember your affinity to BPs...so thanks also for your input about wrist size..very useful.. hope to see you again sometime soon...
Hello Francis, good to hear from you and thanks for your impressions from a small wrist size correlation with a BP...tried something out there but additional feedbacks always of course help.. you may remember, your impressions of the regulateur, were very useful when I got mine...never looked back.. cheers, yitzhak
Best would be to put one on your wrist at AD and make your own opinion about it. A mirror will help. There are also some good salespersons out there who will guide you to find the ideal Pilotwatch for you.
