I would like to know the cadence of the balance of the Portuguese 5001 watch, a model that I hope to own soon.
It would be nice that IWC include that information with each of its models.

The current 5001 beats at 3 Hz. I believe this info was available on the old site but I just checked here and couldn't find it.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,

I can't find the info on the collections site either. Strange that it's missing.

There's much in archived posts, such as the chart here

JL is correct: early ones were 2.5 Hz (18000 vph) but today it's 3 Hz.

Many thanks for the information. I will like to see in the future that information included in all the IWC movements, as other brands do.

Hector, there is a table in the 2011/2012 catelogue providing such information for those models with IWC in-house movements.

Many thanks, Dave. I forgot to seek in the catalog.
