Looks OK to me. Different dials were used for these watches, sometimes in limited batches.
I can't tell for sure, but it could be a redial. I have seen dials with fonts similar to this before, however.
Thank you so much for your help Michael and Tonny. The movement serial seems to suggest that it is a 1943 production and with your trained eyes, the movement seems genuine?
Movement and case look genuine.
Michael one more question watch with this age, does it normally come with crystal top or just plastic like top? Thanks for your help in advance
I agree that the case and the movement are cal.83.
However, about the dial I am less sure. It looks too new for me and there is no patina, which is unusual for a 70 years old watch.
Just a personal opinion.

Thanks for the reply. I think the dial may have been re-dial as I also can't find the exact front. The other thing that I am interested to know is the crystal. It seems to me that it is plastic. I know that some of the old watches they come with plastic top. Is it common to be found on a calibre 83 during that era?
All the IWC cal.83 watches I have seen had a plastic crystal.
Plastic crystals are around since 1920.
