Caliber 79350 and 79320 vs ETA 7750

I have great interest in acquiring the Pilot and Portugese Chronographs. They are based on the 793xx movements above. Since these are in turn based on the ETA 7750 what changes has IWC brought to the 7750 design? Where is the IWC value add? I understand that ETA now delivers these movements fully assembled to IWC. I believe in the past IWC made the necessary changes in house- why was this process changed?

How do these movements compare to the inhouse IWC developed and mfg calibers such as the 5000, 8000 etc?
