Hi. This is my first post after owning prestige IWC time pieces for some years now. I have a question wish you guys could help. I got a Portuguese Automatic 500109 recently and love it. just notice when compare movement with picture in IWC website that there are some different as shown in attachment.

The calibre no. "C. 51011" is located in front of "ADJUSTED TO FIVE (5) POSITIONS" instead of placing on the rim of case between "INTERNATIONAL" and "WATCH CO., LTD". The parenthesis is smaller and not close to 7 ( 7 ).

I'm so worry that there might be something wrong with my watch or there might be some change with this calibre version which I have not yet known.

Wish someone could help on this.

    Hi Werasak,
Congratulations on your fantastic purchase and welcome to the Forum.

Up to the end of 2010, calibre numbers were engraved on the mainplate as you have described as"on the rim of case between "INTERNATIONAL" and "WATCH CO., LTD"."

From January 2011, calibre numbers are engraved on the Automatic Device Bridge as you have described as"located in front of "ADJUSTED TO FIVE (5) POSITIONS"".

So there is nothing to worry about. Your watch is as it was designed to be.

Post some photos for us all.
