I know, before everyone shouts, never trust ebay or its sellers. However, there are genuine sellers on there but how do you tell if it is genuine? does anyone know this seller and can confirm their viability?

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum.
do note that commercial links are not permitted as are discussions of specific sellers or dealers, but...
in my opinion this is the real deal.
however -- whether the watch in the picture is real, is not indicative of whether you will receive the same.
but this is certainly not to discredit online sellers in totality - i have bought watches (IWCs included) from ebay bidding too.
hope this helps.
That is a help thank you, I am not advertising, I am simply seeking to buy an IWC at a competitive price and with warranty and genuine. I would not what anything else and was wondering if this was the real deal. Thank you for your help

You have to be very careful. There are all kinds of horror stories. The seller's credentials and reputation are your starting point. But anyone can be fooled.
I think I will just take the plunge and go to a retail outlet and buy a nice one. Does anyone know if there is a big difference in price across the world, i am in Finland this week, Belgium next, Munich the week after and Vancouver the week after that, which airport or country is best lol
Steve
PS thanks for the advice guys
