Can you help me with a pending IWC purchase?

Hi,

I have a pending IWC Portuguese purchase and would like some help making sure the watch looks authentic. I will be getting the watch immediately serviced/authenticated by IWC when I receive it, but would like some preliminary help ascertaining authenticity. To me the watch looks correct but I'm no expert. Also if anyone here could comment on when this timepiece was produced I would very much appreciate it.

I am always a little skeptical of second hand watches that do not include a warranty card. If nothing else that can be compared against the watch back, the relative time period the watch was made, and a store that should hopefully still be in business. It's just a few more areas that someone selling a fraud could make a mistake.

That being said, the watch appears to match up very well with reputable images. Other images that would help would be the inside of the case back and the other side of the buckle.

Overall, from what you have shown here, the best guess would be real. I would still want if verified by a retailer if you are pay thousands of dollars though.
