CFDV’s Being Shipped Momentarily!

This is good news for those of you who are recipients of the Collectors Forum DaVinci. I have been told that the watches, or at least most of them, should be on their way to the Richemont Distribution Center by today. This means that they then will be sent out to the “platform” (that is national distribution centers) and find their way to retailers.

I suspect that this distribution, including shipping and customs clearances will take a few more weeks, but I am optimistic that everyone will receive their watches in the month of May.

As soon as I learn more, I will keep you posted.

To be honest I was not expecting anything before 3rd quarter (earliest), so this is certainly a very pleasant surprise.

how many CFDV's were actually ordered/manufactured in the end?

I assume Schaffhausen stayed with the stated limited series of 100 watches, but the question I have is what happens to those watches that were not ordered as part of the original orders placed on this Forum by the members by the close date?

I ask, only to create correct expectations on my side. For the CV1 there were some surprises when a few of the watches landed up in the standard distribution chain having been ordered by AD's themselves, or the surprise I got recently whilst still waiting patiently for my Deep2 to be delivered, on seeing on in another AD's window (albeit it in Germany).
