In 2007 I purchased a MB CLS 55 AMG IWC from original owner, he wouldn't part with the matching watch. I'm happy to report I finally located the IWC CLS 55 watch this past week from an owner that sold his car to a dealer recently. I now have the matching watch for my car. The One of 55 is engraved on back of watch and the white dial is beautiful. Needless to say, I'm very content.

Please post some photos. Actually I was offered once and have seen this watch, but didn't find any information about it.

Very nice story here - I love it when we see perseverance in the chase, pay off!

Off course, you are kindly requested to post some pictures of this watch.

    Best regards
    Mark

Well done -- on both the watch and the car. (I have a CLS 63, but have to make do without a matching watch.)

Thanks for all the comments, if you search the collectors forum you will see some pics from a couple others that have been posted over the years. Once I take some pics and figure how to post them, I certainly will. It was a great day to connect car to watch. Everytime I take it in to dealer for service everyone compliments the rarity of car and it's beauty. I honestly think the color combo and look is about as good as it gets.

It was also Bill who taught me how to upload a photo when I first joined this forum (and the IWC family) 3 months ago!

    Thanks again, Bill!
